No matter the area of our business, we do our best to avoid, reduce or replace activities that generate greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). We have also set science-based targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative to reduce our absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 30% (2018 baseline) and the intensity (per ton of product produced) of our Scope 3 GHG emissions by 30% (2018 baseline) by 2030. Once we\u2019ve done everything we can on our own, we offset any remaining, currently unavoidable emissions by investing in high quality, verifiable projects throughout North America that focus on forestry, biomass, landfill gas, renewable energy and composting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
